Washington, DC - Dave

We were in DC this past Thursday. I personally had not been in a few years and it was great to be in the nation's capital. So much history and so many monuments to the great men and women who have shaped our country.

There were quite a few friends and mentors to the Blood:Water Family in DC. We were honored to meet some of them, to hear about their lives and to share our thoughts on Blood:Water with them. Our supervisor/boss Matt Provo was in town as was our executive director Jena Lee as well. They, along with the guys from Jars, were in constant meetings making all kinds of important decisions throughout the day. It was exciting to be around so many amazing Christians who are living out the gospel in such varied, inspiring and poweful ways.

We also had two great volunteers who helped us hold down both the BWM table and the Jars Merch table. On top of that we had three friend from college visit and lend a hand with buckets. Since BWM was not able to make it to the Atlanta show, we hung out in DC the next day. Got some video footage and were able to see some of the sights.
