On Route
February 24, 2007
Once again in the skies, headed toward Denver, Colorado, after a quick morning flight from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA. It is day 4 of our adventure and David, Joe, and I are headed to Denver, so we are strategically positioned to pick-up our trip vehicle, a Dodge Durango that awaits us Monday morning in Colorado Springs, CO.
On Wednesday and Thursday David, Joe, and I met with different folks that work full-time with Blood:Water Mission. We learned about the organization, its goals and philosophy, the logistics and details of our trip, and the responsibilities that were being bestowed upon us: Primarily to represent Blood:Water Missions in a way that will inspire and equip folks to contribute to our cause financially, through prayer, and empowering/motivating the willing to share their enthusiasm about BWM by networking and grassroots initiatives that will positively effect our efforts on the ground in Africa. As we make our way to Colorado, we are all excited and our hearts and minds now have a clear direction and calling toward the journey and mission set before us.
We are spending the weekend with Joe's sister and husband in Littleton, CO and we will each have an opportunity to catch up with friends and family in the Denver area tomorrow. It will be our last day before we head toward the Northwest to turn our education, logistics, and planning, and prayer into action.
