This fall I started a clothing line called Africa Hope Apparel to raise money for different African organizations.  Blood:Water Mission is one of those organizations on my website (www.africahopeapparel.org) they choose a shirt (that has something to do with Africa on it) and an organization.  My goal is not only to raise tangible funds to send to your organization, but to also raise awareness about the issues and what they can do to help out.  When I send them the shirt, they also receive an info sheet about Blood:Water Mission and how they can better partner with your organization!

What is so awesome about this endeavor is that I am able to send almost all the money straight to the organizations.  After taking out the wholesale cost of the shirt, taxes, and paypal fee, a men's shirt yields $ 15.05, and a woman's shirt yields $12.55.

Over the past fall, I have been overwhelmed with the response I have seen with my shirts!  I have had so many orders that I keep selling out.  But what I find even more exciting is that I have had the opportunity to speak about Blood:Water Mission all over California.  Through contacts at various universities, Christian camps, and churches, I have been able to educate people on the importance of clean water, how that pertains to HIV/AIDS patients, ad how just one dollar can give on African clean drinking water for a year!  So many people come up to me after in tears to tell me they had no idea that so many people dies for water related diseases!
